Huawei Cloud InnovWave Overseas (HCIO) Conference

This global corporate conference explores major trends in Public Cloud technology. Since 2019, it has been an annual tradition and has become the largest external technical communication conference on HUAWEI CLOUD.

We had the privilege of hosting the 5th Huawei Cloud InnovWave Overseas (HCIO) conference at ANU Museum, within Tel Aviv University. Spanning over 2 days, it featured 22 talks from industry and academic experts who shared their insights and vision for public cloud technologies. Topics covered in the conference included infrastructure networking challenges in AI and data traffic, monetization strategies for WEB 3.0 & Blockchain in public clouds, cyber security in the AI era, DNA storage for cold storage applications, generative AI startups, and more. Interacting with top researchers from the Technion, Ben Gurion, and Tel Aviv University, high-tech leaders and Huawei’s Cloud R&D experts and managers, this was an excellent platform for discussing the latest research, innovative ideas, and exploring possibilities for collaboration.

17th Israeli Networking Day Event at Toga

The 17th Israeli Networking Day event hosted in our offices brought together experts from both academia and industry. Presentations were given on the latest research on network technology architecture, data center networks, cloud networking, network security, network AI, among others. Two outstanding presentations were recognized with prizes: Alon Rashelbach’s presentation on NeuroLPM – Scaling Longest Prefix Match Hardware with Neural Networks, and a special presentation on AutoMon: Automatic Distributed Monitoring for Arbitrary Multivariate Functions. Once again, this annual event fostered new collaborations and research developments in our dynamic field.

4th Annual Huawei TRC Innovation Summit

Organized by Huawei Tel Aviv Research Center (Toga Networks) and hosted by us, this 3-day event has become a tradition, attracting numerous luminaries from various divisions of Huawei.

The TRC Technology Innovation Conference is also one of Europe’s largest corporate scientific and technological events in Computing PL – covering memory architecture, AI hardware architecture, network architecture and protocols, data management, hardware acceleration, and HPC technologies. It’s a great platform for exchanging ideas between leading Huawei experts and ecosystem leaders, showcasing cutting-edge research from top experts in Europe, China, and Israel. This year, Toga Networks was privileged to have 29 esteemed scientists as speakers! We look forward to this tradition returning next year.

Sharing academic discoveries at Coding and Information Theory Israel (CITI) 2023

Bringing together academics and industry professionals, including 23 renowned speakers, this conference serves as a valuable platform for sharing academic discoveries and tackling industry challenges in areas like data compression theory, source coding, channel coding, storage coding, and communication theory. Israel’s prominence in the field was evident with 3 Shannon awardees and 10 IEEE fellows specializing in coding and information theory. With over 7,000 online entries and positive feedback on the quality of academic research and engaging topics, the conference proved to be a resounding success, solidifying the company’s position as a hub for fundamental research in areas of Huawei’s interest and bolstering Israel’s reputation for high-quality research.
